Getting the exact same issue and I also have absolutely zero clue what causes it, but it’s become something more apparent with the latest update. I was wondering if it was my GPU (AMD Radeon RX 6600) or something, but any other game that I play has no artifacting it is just Darktide.
Lighting bug. 100% of the time. Odd lighting lined, often shaped like stairs or other square shapes. Only happens in the relay room of the map.
The lines move as the camera turns. The show up on the walls, ceiling, floors. Doesnt matter.
Adjusting lighting quality doesnt change anything.

I assume you have an AMD card + cpu? There was a thread about this in the beta and everyone that had this issue had AMD parts. Really disappointing to see that not only has it not been fixed, but that it got much worse.
What a mess…
I have been experiencing this issue as well. My CPU is an AMD Ryzen 9 3950X and my GPU is an AMD Vega 64. I noticed that the square block artefacting remains no matter what settings I select, but the strange glowing lines you showed here went away when I turned off screen-space reflections. Not sure where this problem is coming from but I assume it’s driver related.
In the patch notes from new AMD drivers this issue is marked as know and noted that they are working with dev on the solution.

Flickering black squares show up across any and all surfaces seemingly at random, hampering quality of graphics. Picture attached of only caught instance, flickers are rapid enough to be difficult to catch on screenshots - visible on ogryn’s left arm, with dark edges not caused by lighting. Happens to me as well on steam deck, like you said beta was fine it’s since the launch.
I created an account just to say I’m having the exact same problem (except it’s on desktop Arch Linux), and it never happened in Beta. Changing anti-aliasing to TAA made the problem more tolerable.
Same issue on my steamdeck. Like was said the beta had no issues and looked a lot better. Hope it can get fixed because otherwise the game is amazing on the deck.

Today, I noticed it as well. During the beta everything worked fine. With the full release I noticed a black outline/shimmering on my character. For me I could resolve this issue by enabling “TAA” with no FSR turned on. I did not load up a game to check the first person bug related to the weapon yet. For me this bug has clearly something to do with the Anti-Aliasing respectably TAA since FXAA also produces these artifacts. Only with TAA enabled it seems to be gone.
Settings:
General I use the high preset with motion blur turned off, FSR turned off, Anti-Aliasing set to TAA and Sharpening turned on. During the beta I had no Anti-Aliasing and Sharpening turned on which i prefer. Until this issue gets solved this might be a workaround.
P.S.: My lighting quality is set to high as well!

If i play this game at the highest settings this happens during my games.
Lowering the settings will reduce the black dices.(last screnshot, between guy and knife)
And this other strange effect on the hand or weapon will only get reduced when i turn down the fov.
my drivers are all on the newest version.

AMD GPU - Black flickering boxes on weapons when Light Quality settings is set to Medium-Extreme, Issue is not that visible on low, it works on every map but not at that rate as it is in the Psykhanium
