Kerilian is bald, no default skin and cosmetics being lost

Issue Description:
Kerilian has only ever been bald on my version of the game, no default skin and any purchased cosmetics are lost on restart of the game

Steps to Reproduce:
Unsure, have only played offline and the bug was there on the first time opening the game. I would say whenever the cosmetics are lost it also tells me about the premium cosmetics I’ve bought when first booting into the game.

Upload Console Log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs
  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
  5. Upload here

Upload user_settings.config:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2
  4. Locate the user_settings.config in this directory
  5. Upload here

just to follow up, is there any way to reimburse the missing shillings? I’d also like to purchase a premium outfit for her but worried that will go too so will hold off until confirmation what exactly is being impacted. I’ve seen some posts from a year ago with a very similar issue… Surely it can’t be the same one right?

Hi @AiurOscar,

What you describe is a known issue currently affecting Offline mode console players, which is causing cosmetics to disappear and subsequently reappear at random. It’s been a lingering issue for a while unfortunately - and though we did try to implement a fix, this wasn’t robust enough :frowning:

Our backend and console developers are back on the case though, and this one I hope we can solve soon.

As for the Shillings, as you are playing in Offline mode we’re unable to manually edit your account as your data is stored locally, opposed to on our servers with Online mode.

Just to follow up, I started again in Online and after transferring the save the issues on the offline account seem to be resolved. Will just keep progressing on the Online mode with custom bots. Thanks all :slight_smile:
