I’m still trying to complete Warp Battery but it’s really nearly impossible and completely luck based.

i completed warp battery pre-class update, but i found it to be one of the easier ones. i just played a mission on malice and used brain burst, waiting for the timer to almost expire before refreshing it. got it on my first try with randoms without any issues. the specific mission was the one where you have the boss fight in that train station at the end, but i completed it a few sections before that.
i think people try to kill elites/specials on-sight, asafp, but that kills your timer because you’re (potentially) wasting valuable uptime. max out your warp charges and then just wait for the timer to burn before popping another head. i always waited until the max charges were just about to expire and then i’d refresh it. it can require you to use your judgement on when to do it on certain maps, but generally speaking, if you’re not “wasting” enemies, then it should be pretty easy.
just ask your teammates to not shoot anything that you’re actively brain bursting.
I know, it was one of the easiest penances pre-update, now it’s become nigh impossible.
You need to not use your skill, and there are points where either there are no enemies to refresh, or you don’t get to give the last hit, or you have to wait in an elevator/airlock.
The times I saw my buff going down while waiting for some animation is infuriating.
It doesn’t work like that anymore, unfortunately.
i think the best way to get warp battery is via the carnival finale since it throws a million specials at you in an enclosed space, managed to do it with trauma staff and assail daggers, just grabbed some people and told them to ignore whatever special unit i ping so i could pick my targets and dagger them to death and them spam aoe for the 4% rng refresh chance
same for any of the other redacted challenges, jump on discord and find some people to help, some of them are weird and require you to play very differently to how you would normally
get some friends or check the discord probably more that didn’t do it pre redacted want to do it or some nice soul wanna help.
idk after changes to mob spawn but I got it legit in pubs on t5 probably just a lucky.
best chance was low int assasination probably still is.
Still up to luck, of spawns and last hits.
Not to mention when people decides to look around for god knows what instead of getting into airlocks.
Just like I did the “frag grenade on a sniper 40 meters away” just by pure luck. Some penances are not about skill.
Considering that it requries a private lobby, which requires at least 2 players…
