nah, modeling is far beyond my reach of skills, never could for the life of me even draw a realistic face
cults3d has/had various good warhammer and even direct darktide models.
the scab gunners backpack is such an example.
got a good kickback and grenade gauntlet from there as well as about anything nurgle you see.
totally forgot to display my scab small fry infantry, got some 20(?) in a crate, painted and some still in package, lost track when buying for cheap on amazon
so some good spiked helmets as well as normal ones, oh and the superman-figures I disassembled for the shotgunners bare biceps arms had good head sculpts for melee scabs as well.
was the last day before hospital stay when I didn’t knew for sure to make it back out in one piece that I hastily put together what was at hand.
some figures need stands when posed proper so they don’t “domino” each other should one attempt to dive, so about a third of my figures is even at display.
not counting for the parallel space marine 2 dio with 2 crates full of tyranids
what can I say, last shirt ain’t got no pockets
come to think of, only thing I did “model” with crude methods was adding a sawblade mohawk on top of the bought ogryn head sculpt.
dude made em for the small scale, but it’s easy enough to scale em up and put a neck opening in them to fit the mcfarlane figures.
I think about working on my dio again soon, but come january 7th I’m back in hospital for round two, followed by 3 weeks of rehab.
I like to start things when I got the time to finish em in one go, so I might as well postpone it until afterwards
