what do you expect when the options are:
random made up planet 1-9
and
one of the most significant Lore relevant planets in the entire setting.
like they could have given us a couple of the renowned regimental planets,
arrmageddon, catachan, elysia, krieg, tanith, valhalla, just some so there’s actually a choice
Plus Cadia gets you purple eyes
The character customizer could do with some improvements at some point, more planets, more hair styles, more tattoos etc
I want to add: There is little difference the planet choice makes.
I understand the already great voice work took a lot of time. But if there were, say, less options to compensate - But they all changed the dialogue somewhat - That’d be huge.
As it stands, some of the dialogue seems to be very specifically tailored to one background or place of origin, but they didn’t go through with it fully as they realized they’d need too much voicework to be feasible - Even for the extended VA team Fatshark uses.
That will remain hidden with your shirt glued to your skin.
