It's no fun playing Psyker anymore

Here’s something I’d love to see. I’d love to see the talent where you aren’t slowed during quelling ALSO make you not slow when charging staff attacks or BB. That would be huge IMHO.

Also, I like the level 10 talent for up to +15% damage depending on peril. 4 warp charges gives you another +12%. That’s a 27% damage boost to all of your attacks. You can do a lot of damage with force sword special attack vs elites and bosses. The void staff gets pretty good for sniping specials through hordes at that point too.

Also - I’m liking the void staff when I pretend it’s a quake 1 rocket launcher. Shoot at the ground at targets you want to catch in the AoE stagger. Basically like a combination trauma staff.

Also with the trait that reduces peril on weak spot hits, shooting head level into hordes means you can often loose more peril than your charged attack costed. You can use this to shoot at high peril for the damage bonus (since peril climbs up as you charge and release) and then basically auto shed peril and be ready to launch another void strike bolt. It’s a pretty damn fun build.

I pretty much ignore BB unless I use it to pick off a roaming enemy to keep up my warp charge stacks.

I think I’ve seen some gameplay and, yeah. This game has a lot of infuriating design choices. From no crafting, to infuriating penance design, all the way on up to no ability to control for RNG on things like traits. It’s very annoying.

I wish the staff range attack had some aim assist or magnetism. I miss 80% of the time.
