It's a shame for my favorite game

I really like this game, I love this universe, but…
It was the second year of the game, and among the global changes I can only note the introduction of two different difficulty types and the appearance of a talent tree. But after the 13th update nothing changes in the game, tell me the balance of talents, etc. - how does this motivate and start to interest me? I go exclusively to Auric Maelstorm and I’m already bored, any modifier, all that brings me pleasure in the game are the random players themselves, I need incentive and interest in the game, and not in the players in it.
I have more than a thousand hours in this game, but I played 20 hours in helldivers and it is much more interesting, and there are different approaches, etc., I don’t want to hear that it’s stupid to compare.
BUT.
Where are the normal updates, where are the additions of complications? where is there anything really new? not cards, not weapons. and the game modes, you have wastelands of chaos - you can’t add an analogue here, I’m tired of constantly reading about changes to weapons, like the fact that you changed the perk on the weapon and how it works will motivate me to stay, I honestly really want to, but less and less desire to continue. why do you add cosmetics to pay for the game? introduce a paid, huge add-on, but a normal one, and people will buy it.
humiliate yourself? I beg you to do at least something adequate with this game, I want to play it, I like it, I’m ready to play, if you need an idea generator - so ask or do a survey where ideas will be posted and those that get the most likes + will appear to you healthy - you will start selling them, but not in a year, but write that you took them and the approximate time frame for when to expect them - you will not be given a price, and by the release date you will see that the game has online and there is interest in playing it

Although I agree with the sentiment. I think you should come back after playing 1k hours of Helldivers 2, and we will see if you hold it in as high regards.

Games, even “always online”, “live service” and such, are meant to be played a lot, but there is a limit. No game can be made to be indefinitely fun. Eventually you will have done everything that can be done, hundreds, if not thousands of times. Then, you start to become bored and frustrated.

Accordingly to this website (Video Game Insights - Games industry data and analysis), the average played time is 92.8 hours. Which is probably quite inflated due to legends like us still grinding away. I have 1200h+ in the game, with easily 600 of those being AFKing while reading forums or simply waiting for Armory to update.

This is just how gaming and life is. :smiling_face_with_tear:

A word of advice: If you want to make a point, and don’t want others reading your post bleed their eyes to death, maybe try include paragraphs in your wall of text.

This way its hard to read, and probably not everyone will read it, including me.

You will soon realize H2 also drops off with whats viable, and the basic design loop/gameplay on 7+ is
“AVOID COMBAT AT ALL COSTS”
Since enemies spawn more enemies, and you have maluses like:
-1 strategem, +100% call in time, +50% cooldown, +100% on aircraft cooldown, strategems locked for x seconds etc
Only a couple primary weapons are worth it, and secondaries are literally ‘oh sh-t everything else is empty’
BUT to be fair, H2 is out for a month and DT for over a year and we still have a-s crafting …

I understand, but alas, out of my 1000+ hours (to be precise 1609…didn’t see the sun)), I had about 100 afk (content on YouTube + forum). But yes, returning to the game after 1000 in HD sounds like a plan, but something tells me I won’t be able to play it even then, and it will only be as a memory
