It speaks

No matter what happens the ilvl at some point will probably go up and make all these weapons useless anyway. :man_shrugging:

(I mean like 400 modifier stats being max instead of 380)

I’ve been thinking they might also make crafting mats much easier to find and crafting much more expensive otherwise there’s going to be a ton of people with loads and loads of materiel’s saved up on day one of the roll out of the crafting system because they took so long but we will see

One of the mined functions seems like it might take Melk money. I really hope that idea went back to the board.

According to fatshark, there’s no plans to do so anytime soon, the reason why it’s not just 100% is to leave room for maybe in the farflung future, but I don’t see how that should stop them from simply implementing a proper progression system and hey, adding something as simple as ā€œupgrade your weaponā€ to the crafting and let’s say make bosses useful by having them drop said upgrade materials would solve the issue of useless gear.

For crafting?

@Ashreon Yes mate anything would be good at this point

Reblessing. Its not known how to take the blessings, but there was a string of code referring to applying the blessing costing marks…

Lucky for me mr melk only offers me junk then I suppose.

I will save them more carefully now though thx, did not see anything about that.

We know how it works. There’s an entire post on how it’ll work.

You take a blessing from another weapon, said weapon gets destroyed in the process. I think it might return some crafting materials (?) would make sense anyway, but that’s spankulations

You can then take said blessing item and combine with another of the same type - a bit fussy whether it’ll just take any of such blessing to upgrade or you need two of the same tier to upgrade - I hope it is the former rather than the latter.

You can then attach said blessing item (probably cost plasteel/diamantine)

What we don’t know is if we can only do it once (bad) or twice (good).

here I think.

Earn Blessing

You may also choose to surrender a weapon to Hadron in exchange for a Votive Offering dedicated to one of the weapon’s Blessings. This allows you to extract the Blessings you are interested in from weapons you no longer want, and collect them for use with the Combine or Re-Bless actions.

Combine Blessings

At the Shrine you may choose to combine three Votive Offerings into a single upgraded Votive Offering. Currently, most Votive Offerings have a maximum Tier of IV, but there are some exceptions to this. We’re testing a few different options with the requirements and the results of combining these Votive Offerings.

Re-Bless

By Re-Blessing a weapon in the Shrine, you can replace a weapon’s existing Blessing by expending a Votive Offering from your collection, further tailoring the weapon to your liking. The weapon gains the Blessing associated with the chosen Votive Offering -he original Blessing is lost in the process.

But probably subject to change who knows.

Who knows if that is even still coming.

Its been a long time since I have seen a launch go so bad.

Your a real ray of sunshine summer

Cheer up its going to be a great crafting system you’ll see. :crossed_fingers:

Negative Waves Scenes from Kelly’s Heroes Movie - YouTube

I want the copium and the hopium you have.

Its simply factual. I cant recall a recent game that names itself AAA go so bad … Anthem was a while back already…

A to AAA is just terminology for how big a studio is, Fatshark falls in the AA range with between 50 and 250 employees.

I play with friends. I really enjoy the missions. People have rightful complaints about that, but I think they got the combat nailed down. Some polish with ranged. I don’t even mind the hounds that people seem to hate so much. Bring them on.

With that said, everything around the missions is not so great so I’m levelling alts and playing as long as I have fun only in the missions. I won’t bother with gear at all for the time being, and if they don’t have anything finished by the time that I feel that I have to bother about gear then I’ll likely move on.

I fully get people not thinking like me on this one though.

The game should never have been released in this state. Delay until it is done and you could have had an amazing launch with glowing reviews in stead of mostly negative (since launch, including beta it is still mixed).

Yes, this sucks as much as I remember when I read it a while ago.

I wonder what the odds of decent/stable content updates are within the next 4-6 weeks. If those ā€˜changes’ actually address any of the major concerns of the community they will be pretty significant overhauls; If they haven’t even started on these ā€˜changes’ yet, then the timeline looks pretty grim.

Stay positive and wait its all we can do :man_shrugging:

Seemingly, there was no way for them to know that their obviously bad systems were bad. Not a single soul discovered it internally. Nor did anyone mention it in closed beta. Or open beta. Nope. They suddenly discovered their systems were horrifically bad over xmas.

So yeah, for a studio that takes 6-24 months to discover something obviously bad, so bad that a five second glance shows it’s bad… I don’t have high hopes for their timeline of fixing it. No doubt they are now having serious discussions and rountables to try to discern what is bad, because it’s clearly completely eluded them so far.

i hate this skinner box also and have to agree.

You’re probably correct, but I guess we’ll see soon enough and survive on hopium in the meantime…
