It seems that there are many changes in Havoc 2.0

No new weapons

but also I knew and just want to point this out always wondering how ‘soon’ is like 9 months in fat shark time.

Some old weapons were updated and generally buffed to be more competitive and viable, but no new weapons it seems.

Shredder autopistol is back in business among other things.

These remind me of the colors for the seeds of chaos from Chaosgate: Daemonhunters.

-require strategy
-insanely op perks, ultimates and weapons that solve every issue significantly better than everything else completely untouched this patch

Okay fatshark

Most of the changes seem great, it’s baffling that they got no mention in the official announcement and that we have to rely on YouTube for them.

I wish they added the spawns and daemonhost ritual to auric maelstroms.

I really dislike the new mutators though: they are basically the new beastmen banners, with fewer ways to counter them.
They are extremely gamey, they work in a way that’s way to reminiscent of MMO mechanics, the lowest denominator of the gaming industry imo. They’ll dictate how you play in a way that’s artificial, and bring with them things like “DPS checks” that are the nails in the coffin of a healthy community.
Even if you think I went a bit too far there, and you are not bothered by their rainbow appearance, you have to admit something that artificial has no place in the complex visceral combat system of a tide game.
They’ll ruin immersion a bit at the very least.
It’s as if they looked at pus-hardened skin, arguably the worst and most uninspired mutator of the last iteration and thought “Yeah. We did good there.”

TL:DR They did all of those changes, wrote thousands of lines of code as jsat points out, to have that incredibly complex behaviour locked behind a mode now dominated by MMO gameplay

watched the video looks like good changes to havoc, well thought out and should do the job , doubt it will be enough to get me to bother trying it but looks like good work. those deckchairs on the titanic were not this well arranged.
