It just doesn't feel good to play

Honestly, the game is just a worse vermintide in every aspect now that I’ve actually played it.

Getting suppressed feels horrible, long gone are the days of quickly sniping an elite, it felt so good in VT2. In fact, I feel like my aim is NEVER steady, I feel like I’m drunk almost every time I aim, and I’m playing a sharpshooter.

Maps are chaotic and not in a good way, objectives are repetitive, the banter is almost nonexistent, the game is soulless.

Elites feel… strange? Like they are not all that distinctive, they also feel kind of soulless.

And half of what was supposed to be here on launch is delayed, no private lobbies, something that’s absolutely basic in any coop game, no full crafting system, performance is all over the place.

I want to like it, I love 40k, and I love VT2, but this isn’t it, this is a sorry excuse of a live service, nothing else.

That’s why we’re here, soldier.

Sorry, I’ll see myself out.

Tbf suppression and sway are a non-issue if you prioritise getting guns with decently high stability stats, especially if you stick with lasguns since they have minimal recoil on top of all that.

Also I’d say calling it soulless is a bit of a stretch since if anything the aesthetics, sound design and music are some of the games strongest points on launch. Plenty of soul imo what its missing is some extra substance and a boat load more performance, even then I’m not going to castigate them for funny graphics driver issues which don’t seem entirely their fault.

The game has genuine issues and your bit on delayed features is a big part of that, but i do feel like a lot of what you said misses the mark, not that it changes how you feel of course.
