Inventory Equipped Weapons bugged

The inventory on my currently level 18 veteran is completely bugged out. No matter what I try to equip it always throws me into a mission with the same weapons equipped. It is the two weapons that are highest on my list of weapons, since they both have 500 power, and thought it was something about a malestrom mission requiring you to use your strongest stuff. But when I went to entreat at Hadron it said that those same two weapons were equipped even though simply checking my loadout showed that that should not be the case at all. No idea why this is happening but leaving the game and restarting it do not fix it.

@CosmicClown, that’s unusual. Do you happen to have a duplicate curio equipped? As there’s an old bug that when this happens it can cause weapons to become “stuck” equipped. Please try unequipping and changing your curious out and let me know if this makes a difference!

Otherwise, perhaps your loadout data has become a bit muddled. You could try deleting your AppData, but will lose all custom settings, loadouts etc.

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory
