Thanks! I think I see an issue pertaining to Direct Storage - I won’t bore you with the details, but I suspect this will resolve your issue:

  1. Navigate to your Darktide AppData by:
  • Press the Windows key + R
  • Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  • Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  1. Open the user_settings.config
  2. At the VERY TOP of the user_settings.config, enter the line below:
direct_storage = {
    enabled = false
}
  1. Save your changes

hello again. i did what you instructed but it’s still the same then i noticed that the file keeps reverting back to an unedited one. after i edited the user_settings.config file then launch the game, it still crashes but when i open the user_settings.config file again, the line that you had me entered, disappear or gets deleted.

here’s the latest crash report:

There does seem to be an issue with the user_settings.config here. Try disabling Steam Cloud Saving, and then re-apply your changes. You can disable this by:

  1. Navigate to your Steam library
  2. Right-click Darktide
  3. Select ‘Properties’
  4. On the ‘General’ tab, scroll down to ‘Steam Cloud’
  5. Disable ‘Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’
