Hello!

I’ve been on a bit of a mission recently. I try to collect useful guides and internet sites to make it easier for new and returning players to get or refresh knowledge about certain aspects of the game.

Thing is, I have no idea which Influencers/Content creators are worthwile and why.

So basically what I would love to ask here:

What Internet Persona / Content creator with Darktide content do you consider worth visiting and/ or following? Please post the link so I can check them out too and if possible add a little reasoning for why you like said content creator.

Also, if you know people that teach others about the WH40K lore in general and / or specific for Darktide, please tell me more too

My top 5 would probably have to be chocoB, dystopianchimp, JTClive, JoPlaysGames and Reginald.

I really only watch Reginald, I find his takes to be the most reasonable and nuianced.

ChonWick on twitch — educational high-level player. Really helped me elevate my gameplay and understanding of mechanics.

Reginald on YouTube/ here — really insightful analysis, one example I can think of is the bolt pistol feedback which I remember thinking was very level-headed.

ChocoB on YouTube — mad skillz… mainly solo/duo runs, which has helped me learn to clutch!

Janfon1 is probably worth including, simply because they are a treasure to the Tide community.

Yeah, Janfon’s definitely in my Top 5 for generalised 'Tide creators. I excluded them from my initial list because of their lesser focus on showing off gameplay rather than actual content generation.

Janfon makes a LOT of cool stuff, I just wouldn’t go directly to them for 'Tide gamer tips.

I prefer to have a much larger pool of perspectives. Reginald’s pretty great, but I also like to hear what others have to say before forming my own conclusions.

I wonder if Royale w/Cheese is gonna try Darktide stuff again now that getting weapons and making builds isn’t a joke anymore.

I occasionally watch videos from Janfon1, telopots and Reginald, but that’s about it:

Janfon for creative content; telo for build variety exploration and excellent duo gameplay showcases, and Reginald for having a grounded take on the game and also build exploration.

That is completely fair. In general though, i dont watch many videos about games i play. There isnt really any reason why, it just isn’t something that is interesting to me, i guess.

Twitch - probably the best player I’ve ever seen
Twitch - amazing player, really great at explaining and interacts with chat quite a bit
Twitch (he hasn’t streamed in a while)

Cracklax is an old streamer since the 2017 vermintide days. He is good but he is a bit toxic. I respect his skill though

Reginald is king though.
