Agripina’s Autogun: Requires an increase in the rate of fire to 9 units and an increase in maximum damage to 145. The machine is very slow in the fire theme, it does not have time to realize its damage due to the low rate of fire. There’s a curse on complexity/ chaos is simply useless due to the accatrn and enhanced autoguns. Increasing the rate of fire will create a powerful weapon class that is suitable for automatic fire, but at the cost of ammunition.
Autogun Columnus: an increase in damage to 100- 105 and an increase in the rate of fire to 11. This Autogun acts as a “golden mean” against the background of Vrax and Agripina, but ultimately draws on their weaknesses. Due to the lack of good blessings for Infantry Autoguns, they are very dependent on base damage. The damage of 99 units on high difficulties is already weak, and the figure looks like a mockery, because you will not see these 100 in any way. The rate of fire also requires a small buff to be on par with Accatran and Enhanced Autoguns. 11 is the golden mean.
Judging by the mark names you’ve listed you’re talking about infantry autoguns right?
Cause like there’s braced, infantry, and vigilant. You’re really making your post much more of a headache to parse than it needs to be by not specifying the family of autogun up front.
Edit: missed this:
Ok that’s kinda my bad. Still, put that in the title or first sentence.
Perso I really think Graia and Agri infantry autoguns need something to be done.
Columnus is good and should not be nerfed. But the two others are too weak if we compare to them.
Tbh, I have switched to the boltgun… you can’t go wrong with something so strong…
but Boltgun is not balanced. I don’t even pay attention to aim with it… I become more and more lazy with such powerful weapon.
When you compare it to an IAG…
No, it shouldn’t. Weapons of this class should have higher damage, not 99 units. 100 is optimal, but it does not solve the problems with the rate of fire and the lack of good blessings for infantry autoguns.
The nodes you specified are not accurate, the “sniper” perk will be better here (the cornerstone). And no, the potential of the weapon is very low, I have indicated the reasons. The Akktran has the ability to burn the enemy with critical hits, the autogun does not. The Akktran does not have a strong recoil- the Autogun does. In fact, complexity is a curse./ The chaos autogun is a weak weapon, as it ONLY deals direct damage, with no time damage. Therefore, veterans take Bolter, Plasma, Accatran.
Perhaps due to the low damage, Acctran has a rate of fire of 20 and an infernus blessing after the buff. And Vrax-13 and without the blessings of time war damage. I think that bleeding would be a great blessing for Auto Fans, for critical shots.
You’re asking for a 1% damage buff? Why bother. The benefit infantry autogun has over recon las guns is finesse damage, it’s less consistent because higher recoil but it’s there.
Slight increase in damage and fire rate. This way the weapon will feel better. The damage partially covers the lack of good blessings, and the rate of fire will help you make better use of the “torment” of skills. Right now, Infantry Autoguns are weak against the background of the Accatarn, they have less ammunition, higher recoil, there is no way to burn enemies, and their rate of fire is lower than that of the Accatarn. Akkatran does a lot of damage in a second due to fire, you can literally BURN the crusher without piercing its shell armor. An infantry Autogun can’t do that, at all. Of course, I would advocate adding the “puncture” blessing so that there would be bleeding during critical hits, which would be better, but so far there is none. Therefore, a slight increase in tempo and damage is optimal.
Damage from 100 oh 105 and fire rate 11. This is a significant improvement in the quality of weapons. Damage is at the level of an assault rifle with a rifle cartridge, the rate of fire is at the level of an assault rifle, combining the best qualities of autoguns. This is a good improvement, especially against the background of junk blessings.
To us, who is this? For you? These types of weapons are used due to the fact that hordes of enemies, especially crushers, rampaging, bastions and Mauler, wreak havoc on players. Bolter- against armored enemies, bosses. Plasma is used against armor and enemy groups. The Akkatran, like the infantry Autogun, should act as the main infantry weapon, against hordes, specialists, and with the ability to hit the elite, but less effectively than the Bolter and Plasma. And now I repeat: The Akktaran fulfills its role, it is a powerful weapon that, with skills, kills both the horde and the elite, thanks to the rate of fire and setting fire to the enemy. What is “unique” about an infantry autogun? A flashlight? Aiming? There is no bleeding, there is no torment without skills, it cannot burn the enemy, there are fewer cartridges than Akkatran. I came up with an idea: to improve them so that, with the basic characteristics, they were at the same level, so that when going on a Duquesne mission, I would not put 2/3 of the ammunition into the enemy or shoot more slowly than the batteries. You’re telling me. that the weapon is "better than it should be."Why do I need this information? I don’t care how others play, if they like it, let them hack how and with what they want. If the bolter, plasma, infantry autogun and akkatran are strong, that’s great.
Depends on whether or not you want your gun to kill crushers. I agree MF build is much better damage overall but it does require you commit a different part of your build to crusher killing, so there’s a trade-off.
I disagree with the idea of “it’s not a top 3 weapon therefore it needs buffs”. Pointing out they don’t have a reason to take them over Vraks is pretty fair, though I’d rather see more interesting strengths and weaknesses than just trying to even out their DPS. Cleave, stagger, damage drop-off, and ammo are all other variables that could be tweaked to make all marks appealing in different ways.
