If you play long enough, The Emperor’s Gift goes from being a fun free weapon or curio to a hinderance, as your inventories fill up with garbage you have to keep clearing out.
What would be the easiest way to deal with this? A button on the EG popup to immediately scrap it, for sure.
But another way would be to take all the ‘red weapon‘ reskins, replace the white bits with black bits and the red bits with gold bits, and make these super-rare drops from Emperor’s Gifts and Mystery Melks. They can even be called ‘Emperor’s Favorite” skins, to match the luck theme from the Mortis Trials. Completing harder mission types improves your odds of getting one of these, but even so they are still rare. Also make sure you can’t get duplicates.
Its clear from the awful expeditions grind that you’re hurting for retention. So consider this a more palatable alternative to keep folks like me from dropping the game two days after an update.
