Ideas to revitalize the Game

  1. New Enemy Faction(s) like the Blood Pact or Genestealer Cultists (maybe as Expansion Pack)

  2. New Weapons like for example the 2-Handed Lasgun/MG the Scab/Dreg Gunners have for Veteran; 2-Handed Chainaxe/Glaive and Electric Flail for Zealot; Mauler-Cannon etc for Ogyrn

  1. New Modifiers like an Endless Horde; Flamer/Bomber Spam, Ogyrn (Crusher/Reaper/Bulwark) Spam

  2. New / more Bosses like an Rotfly-Boss on open Maps; more Skins/types for existing ones

  3. Red Weapons going up to 100% and have an unique effect like those from Mortis Trails which however only drop from Bosses at Damnation / Auric Heresy and higher.

  4. Auric Difficulty for Mortis Trails and a more consistent difficulty for it - quite often you get Rounds where for all 12 Waves you only fight 1-2 Bosses while in the next you get multiple thrown at you several waves. Since i doubt they will change it to be more like Chaos Waste now that it is already implemented as is i think it can still be made better with as said higher difficulty variations, more Maps and more Buffs to choose from

  5. New / more Abilities, Perks and Blitzes for the existing Classes - Psyker alone could get some more cool Abilities like an Warp Vortex and Perks to alter existing ones like Brain Burst AoE (but ofc way lower Single Target DMG in return), Smite with an Perk to turn it into an Single Target concentrated Lightning Strike etc.

  6. Alongside the stronger Red Weapons, new Perks etc. a new Difficulty after Damnation like ‘Treachery’.

  7. Increase Havoc Level up to 50 giving some real Challenge and place to utilize the new Powers.

  8. All Cosmetics should be 24/7 available in the Store.

  9. New / more diverse Maps; for example outside of the Hive City could have some Maps in that barren Wasteland; in the upper higher Spires in some rich persons Garden / Home

  10. Alongside new Enemies / Modifiers could maybe be as a continuation of the Story also lesser Demons who got summoned by the Ritual like the Nurgle Toads, Plaguebearer, Bloodletter as an Demonic Incursion Modifier or just as a whole as additional new Enemies.

  11. A small Campaign which you can play Online / Offline with others and go through the Missions as you Level Up in Trust and encounter Bosses like the Captains alongside who get a small Backstory / Dialogue to them. Could maybe just be a small five-Mission Arc; nothing to large but to add some bit of Lore / narrative structure.

Thats at least what i would do / suggest for the Game.

the Long Las, i expected to main this thing, you know, on my veteran sharpshooter, but plenty of water passed under the bridge and there is still no sign

If we’re increasing Havoc to 50 then can we do away with blight and rituals?

You could also add weapon customization.

I hope the devs take a few days off to play Doom Dark Ages (a Space Wolves Story), and remember that Videogames are best when they let you game the game.

You are practically asking for Darktide 2 at this point.

  1. Port to Switch 2 for another wave of players.

If it is true that we are getting a cyber mastiff class like that Skulls trailer implies that could be a big boost, not as big as a mechanicus class but still major.

I remember making a suggestion years ago that the two most optimal choices for new classes are something Mechanicus for the popularity of Mechanicus, and the other was an Arbites Class with a Cyber Mastiff so you can go to town customising your personal doggo which people would love, and which would also let FS sell tons of doggo skins.

Will be interesting to see what we get on thursday.

FS need to play Doom to see how even though game has higher system requirements the frame times are very smooth than compared to Darktide.

Then you got server latency which relates to higher difficulty due to increased spawn. Delayed/non-activation of abilities. Dodge, jump, shoot all “ok” but something about activating ability can bug out.

I see people pre-blocking way beforehand against pox because they know timing it and lag involved might not trigger.

The online experience isn’t smooth. Funny enough if I played during non-peak i.e. EU AM the experience is better generally than PM where player count is higher.
