I’m like 2-10 on that one. Most people just aren’t ready. It’s usually the snipers that do people in.

honestly the abundance of spidey sense ‘professional darktides’ macking on these forms of difficulty make me sad. just watching people pre empt the specialists before they even enter zones a lot these days. why remove all mystery and fun from the game.
anyway yeah my favorite maelstroms are the ones people don’t leave and stick you with bots, though some of my longest struggles of stubbornness have been in those lobbies.
This one isnt that bad because of all the health stimms. Seriously, there is a stimm in almost every box. It is ridiculous. I personally think they should just make the stimms spawn at their regular rate. Besides, we have beacon of purity if the corruption is that bad.

Yeah, like the mods that tell you which specialists have spawned, to me that is just blatant cheating.
it goes deeper than that, there’s a friggin radar for whatever enemy in the game you decide to flag it for, in addition to a mass color coding scheme to sort those, which players have been calling a ‘fix for bad sound’ cope. literally the ultimate not playing the game, and seeing footage of people with that on and them going ‘oh man the game is so easy’ is kinda lol. and playing in lobbies of plasma guns shooting things through walls without even using executioner stance is getting older faster than anything else these days, least mr knife gotta go fast leaves a bunch of aggro’d enemies when they usually fail.

For me its the combo of specialists, snipers AND the weaker guys. While juggling positioning with pox gas. It’s just brutal, the CC and the zoning here is just insane for me.
If you ever come across this, record it and let me watch what you do because gat dayumn, this is insane.
