but veteran powersword mk3 also have very high damage.skitarii power sword’s moveability is similar to veteran powersword but have a terrible moveset and damage
I personally cannot stand the move set and think it’s horrible, but others seem to be getting good mileage out of it. I did try it though, and even though it’s not my cup of tea, I can’t say that I thought it was weak exactly.
You can use it with the power button, it doesn’t actually have normal moves (50% infested so you can’t even clear horde, groaners only with no cleave). And the activation cancel is worse than Mk6 for a worse pattern of moves on slower execution and damage. Its easily one of the worst examples of power creep I can point to that became power crept themselves to where people don’t even register them anymore on the radar screen full of bleeps. Deimos and Mk6 power sword, forgotten but still OP and obliterate their mark competition.
I would like to see the output of the weapon once its working as well.

It’s damage is plenty high, it’s just move set sucks. Though, there’s one things that can be buffed, it’s charged attacks, they kinda don’t provide as much power increase as regular power sword, while being way mroe limited.
Because you get access to really powerful single target stabs at the start of your combo that can be either a heavy or a light attack. You can then chain this into more single target strike downs with a light overhead, into heavy overhead, into heavy stab then repeat. Or you can do the horde clear combo by starting the combo with a push attack into heavy which can then easily be combo’d again into single target strikedowns if needed
and its chunkier than the unactivated falchion without being worthless like the unpowered vet sword.
it is truly one of the power swords of all time that is actually fun to use
I didn’t like it at first but after getting used to it it has become one of my favorite weapons in the game, it’s moveset strange as it might sound is actually pretty similar to the branx pickaxe which is another weapon I love.
Apparently the finesse damage modifiers do not apply to Powered attacks. So I have no idea how much damage they ACTUALLY do.
It’s not just finesse, it’s damage and first target as well
I dont think so Skitarii PS need buf for now, but more change on attack paterns and no attacks on specials when runout of charges.

Yeah. I’m very much witholding judgment on the MPS until that issue is fixed. Once that’s working, we can judge if the damage is worth the complexity of the moveset and the lack of mobility. I hope it is, cuz I really want to like the weapon, but I just don’t right now.
If they add moveability and dodgecount of skitarii powersword, I think this weapon canbe good. but currently its moveability is too terrible, it feels even slower than veteran powersword, but veteran powersword have highdamage. and if fatshark insist give skitarii powersword terrible moveability, then they should either improve their moveset or buff their damage, what is your opinion?

In addition, the Skitarii PowerSword requires waiting for 3 charge cues before its charged heavy attack deals maximum damage, which takes about 1.8 seconds—longer than the time needed to stack 3 Thrust blessing on other weapons’ heavy attacks.
