i’d rather the stats be more meaningful first (especially mobility)
I don’t want stat buffs
I just don’t want 80% to be the maximum seriously it should be 100% for just visual clarity sake.
I have more issue with the item colour names than the item colours themselves.
They just need to be 80% current value become the 100% then reds be 100% across all 5 stats
also, curios are capped as well
health should go up to 25% and toughness to 20%
where’s the power creep in uncapping that?
If they were to ever introduce reds, it would have to be done through the crafting system somehow. Unless it’s a “play this mission and acquire one random red weapon” type of thing.
Havoc is a candidate for this, i suppose, but that’s gatekeeping a new feature from one subset of players in favor of another subset, that doesn’t even need more powerful weapons.
They should just convert “80%” to “100%” and “60%” to “80%” to finally shut people up! ![]()
% are bullsht anyways if the value behind it can vary wildly based on the current “balancing”
all this “loot hunt” crap was unecessary from the start in my opinion.
give every weapon it’s basic utility and be done with it, rest is in the hand of a (skilled) player to make it work, or not.
“finesse”, “penetration”, “movement speed”
what the fkk? either the weapon uses the same ammo and caliber hence has the same penetration as every other using said “bullets” or its a totally different “this aint cod” chambering, “grain” and ammo type altogether.
80% here, 60% there my ass ![]()
people want fancy colors on an item picture when in fact some should ponder how to put it to better use in an actual match.
1 aquila for every blue and green weapon others brought to an auric maelstrom match and I could buy the entire shop and then some ![]()
Devs: Best we can do is red skins after you max out the masteries.
Jokes aside red weapons would break the already problematic balancing even more, at this point that would do more harm than good.
I find it INCREDIBLY strange that it’s taken them so long to implement it. The game is literally still incomplete without it. They may as well change all the “inspect” max stat values to reflect the 80% values rather than the 100% that has taken years to implement.
It’s called having a life and once in a while even touching grass. Uncapping stats to 100 will change almost nothing in terms of balance and a 20% boost in ammo and damage won’t make people be better on even Auric Maelstrom let alone Havoc 30-40 that you tryhards can continue to “enjoy” (lol) in peace.
its called weakness and not of “them folk” got the cognitive ingame ability of those chewing grass
instead of touching ![]()
You’re playing a game , you’re not a Samurai warrior LMAO
Well, considering that Reds were a band aid fix that still was mostly a chore in VT2, it won’t be the people that want to have a life that it will impact the most.
Depends on the implementation
exactly, something in my free time I put my heart and soul into.
you wanting to remain a mediocre player is your choice ![]()
but don’t project your lacking ambition and passion into watering down a fun experience.
not everything needs to be turned into
for the masses
Exactly it needs to cater primarily to exemplar warriors like your esteemed self lmao not sure if trolling or actually taking yourself to seriously, if yes, do seek help.
Yeah all a VT2 red really does is mean you have to press the utterly cursed, cunting “Re-Roll Properties” button less. Which is frankly a godsend.
It has been well over 7 years since Vermintide 2 released, but I am still angry they didn’t import the Invocate and Offer system from the Vermintide 1 Shrine of Solace.
Offer let you choose to take the new roll or the old one.
Invocate let you reroll the % chance but if it was lower it kept your higher.
Both were RNG dust sinks but vastly less obnoxious than Reroll Properties.
I advice the same, yours sounds like a pretty bland existence ![]()
