I feel like Beast of Nurgle is kind of... poorly designed

From my experience I think it keeps you in until it takes one wound with corruption from you.

And on topic, I really don’t like that most of the time grab looks like the only attack it have against player with aggro. Like once it’s in melee you have to prepare for dodge dancing with it. And if you miss a dodge, you are in. Plague Ogryn only hits you in that case, but Beast can take you into really nasty spots once it spits you.

Yeah, he’s not a very engaging boss fight lol Very much a ranged weapons check fight. You can get in there for some melee hits, but he’s pretty good about slapping you away.

I 100% disagree. While the beast could be more jovial, I’m happy we FINALLY got a look at the darker more depressing side of Nurgle. Too much of modern Nurgle is just “happy stupid plague idioit” when thats not all Nurgle is.

Yeah I was really hoping for more horror elements but after seeing it a couple times I’m only worried that if I do get ate it will actually let me play the game at some point instead of spitting me out to re vore me.

but here’s the issue: That ain’t the beast of NUrgle.

Despite its fearsome appearance and deadly attributes, the Beast is an affectionate creature that behaves in all respects exactly like an over-friendly and easily excited puppy. It craves attention, greeting newcomers by slobbering all over them with its slimy tentacles.

Once they get thoroughly worked up they can rarely (if ever) contain themselves and leave little piles of acrid slime in their wake. All this attention is not a problem to other creatures and servants of Nurgle, but tends to kill mortals fairly rapidly.

Unlike most Daemons, a Beast kills not with rending claws and ripping teeth, but with a strange form of kindness. Victims are caressed, petted, and stroked with the Daemon’s multiple tentacles, while the long tongue delivers slobbery and slimy licks.

The darker, depressing side of Nurgle (general existence aside) would fit more to what BECOMES of the Beast of Nurgle once they get depressed.

This:

I know what a Beast of Nurgle is, and I said in my comment it could be more jovial. I was just saying I’m happy everthing BUT the beast isn’t like that. Although I’d love if instead of eating you, it would pick you up and “play” with you for a bit, and it would make more sense for why it wanders around.
