How to Melt a Diamond

Issue Description:
My gpu is running hotter than any other game I have ever thrown at it. I want to start out by saying, I am not having issues with GPU hanging, crashing (other than when it gets too hot), error codes.
I am having an issue with keeping my GPU cool enough to stay running. I also want to add that at the beginning of this year, I applied fresh thermal paste to the gpu. Also, that it is getting so hot that it will burn. Close to 80-90 degrees Celsius. I have to reboot and let the computer run, to cool down the gpu or else I’ll get artifacts if I just hop right back into this game

The other thing I would like to add to this however, I believe is in AMD’s dept to fix. I go in and set a custom performance profile for this game. I have noticed that it will not turn the fans on to where I have set them to be at. It will only do it if I set the custom performance profile for the global settings. When set correctly, my GPU is loud.

Steps to Reproduce:
Run the game for a fair amount of time at stock graphics control center performance settings. Basically have the game run at that stock quiet, but at the expense of heat removal, settings. However, any other game (even ones that I can’t get as many fps as I can out of this game) may run in the high 60’s if I haven’t set up a profile for it. But they will run steady and strong, albeit hotter than I’d like.

I am still looking to get my log here and I’ll add it as soon as I can. However, I will say I don’t have any errors going on necessarily

If you are comfortable with it I would recommend undervolting your graphics card. I have a 3080 and limit the voltage to 850mV. The card does not exceed 60C-62C in game.

Just search undervolting Vega 56 and you will find some guides. (Youtube example)
