Issue Description (Required):
I took a break from the game for a couple months and my GPU temp has been significantly higher after reinstalling. During regular gameplay on malice it can hit 85 C, when in the past its stayed at low 70’s C on Heresy/Damnation even when streaming the game on discord. I’m getting some stuttering but its generally staying at 60 FPS. I dont know what my old settings were but i dont understand why its gotten so much hotter without changing any settings.
Im using Nvidia app to monitor the heat and ive noticed GPU utilization hovers below 50% and dont know if thats normal. I just want to play the game without it getting so hot, any recommendations?
Attempted Solutions (Optional):
All graphics set to lowest. Checked Darktide is using correct GPU, and GPU is set for maximum performance on Nvidia control panel. The best performance increase ive noticed is having AMD FSR 3.1 set to balanced and frame generation ON and FPS locked to 30.
Drivers are up to date, cleaned the PC of dust and shut down other programs and steam overlay.
