That’s their problem and skill issue.

Great. The AI Director will have to spam Enemies even worse than it already does to counter that kind of powercreep. We ask for Players to be nerfed because Players are so OP that it’s literally forcing the AI Director to spam so many Enemies that it breaks Enemy Audio in order to create any semblance of challenge. We’re not asking for nerfs to “ruin” Darktide, we’re asking for nerfs to fix it.

And…? Having a high level doesn’t equate to being skilled nor knowledgeable about Darktide. I’m sorry but this just seems like an unnecessary and irrelevant flex.

The last hotfix was exactly 1 week ago. Sometimes, it feels like no one here has worked an actual job, with coordination between multiple teams, let alone one that bears any resemblance to software development.

you forgot to mention that whit each update come new bugs and crashes.

Yes this is good news. Who knows, maybe one day the game no longer drops inputs.

Hey @FatsharkKitefin, any word on the state of mission backfill, which has been having issues since the last seasonal update? With the shorter on-board duration, it seems to be a real problem. Is this on y’all’s radar?

That person just likes to the very vocal narc of the bunch, best to just ignore and move on.
As for the whole working a real job; you’re probably right on the spot for about 80% of the people like this.

Please extend lobby times. If you get like 1/3 into a level and someone quits nobody backfills because QP only acknowledges your lobby for 10 minutes until it goes off the board.

I really don’t want to ask for much, but this kind of throughput from a game studio ostensibly in the hundreds feels absurd. I really would have been perfectly happy with the buff bar CTD being patched immediately, since that’s the easiest one to trigger, and waiting another week or two for more fixes.

My derogatory comments, on the other hand, are never directed towards Kitefin, but FS as a whole. I trust she’s doing the best with what she’s got - I cannot say the same for the rest of the company. Nobody tells us anything about what’s going on and I tend to be a natural cynic.

I gotta repeat that I think the game is great and I didn’t dump a thousand hours into it for nothing, but is it really too much to ask for a stable game that works consistently? Ghost Ship had the courtesy to throw out a maintenance patch to get DRG into a rock-solid (lol) state before declaring that they were going to put it on the backburner in favor of other projects, which sounds just fine with me. We’ve gotten the bare minimum of maintenance from FS and vacations taken with a game that really does feel like a buggy mess at the best of times.

Sometimes release/deployment doesn’t work like that. Often you have to batch stuff out. Just look at all of the other crash fixes here. They’re affecting some users, possibly more than the buff bug.
