Hotfix #63 (1.7.1) Patch Notes

I’m a bit confused, you want to keep DLAA outside of maps or in certain maps but use DLSS Quality in missions?

I want to use DLAA as often as possible while keeping a native frame rate near 60 fps.

Most of the time this works great. but there are a few maps/missions where my frame rate drops into the 30’s and 40’s and the game just doesn’t play well. Same issue with some player builds, grenade spam and fire effects really drag the performance down.

It would be nice if it was an option in the settings so if I do wind up on a map/mission and I can’t get a decent frame rate I could quickly make the change in game.

I’m just hoping it’s an easy thing they can add while they’re working on the DLSS issues some people are having with frame gen.

OTOH, I think some those slowdowns may be CPU/SW limitations? Too lazy to look it up or test…

It’s the RT that’s killing it for me. Dropping the native render resolution from 1440 to 960 is enough to get it playing above 60.

Ah, I thought you meant RT was off in general. Only 3080 here and RT was buggy AF near launch so I gave up on it…

3080’s still a great card.

RT was really bad at launch for me too. It’s in a much better place now, but I’m not sure how much it will add with a 3080.

Yeah it’s too much for a 3080, but on OLED…eees niice.
In the meantime w/ DLSS 4 (and RT off) and new model/presets w/ nvApp override (to use latest DLLs and presets) I can even go DLSS Perf and profit.

I have noticed that the blessing effect of certain weapons has changed, not just in words, but in reality. However, I am not sure which specific changes have been made

I confirm that. When I had my 3080, it was not smart to activate the RTX as I would get big FPS drop making the game unplayable.
However, ray tracing is not bugged. I actually use it (at max, with close to everything at max) and the effect is really great.
My only problem is ogryn grenades build in mortis trial. I fall from 200 FPS to 140-150… ok this is high, but such drop result in game stuttering.
