Hotfix #63 (1.7.1) Patch Notes

Hey Everyone,

Hotfix #63 is currently rolling out across our platforms and it’ll be available soon.

General Fixes

  • [Known Issue] Fixed a bug that was causing the client to crash when they reached max capacity of stacks given by the Psyker’s Mettle Talent.
  • Fixed a bug where the Psyker’s Mettle Talent was being activated by critical attacks that did not hit any enemies.
  • Fixed a rare crash that might occur when using the Ogryn Loyal Protector talent.

Mortis Trial Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused certain enemy types to not be included in waves 10+ in the Theatre of Castigation.
  • Fixed an issue in Mortis Trials where a dead player could get stuck on either of the two islands if the group did not resurrect them before taking the portal back to Sefoni.
  • Fixed an issue in Mortis Trials where players could leave the intended gameplay area.
  • Fixed an issue in Mortis Trials where a player could end up being stuck in a container after being rescued from a hang ledge.
  • Fixed issue with joining an ongoing game of Mortis Trials when an objective is completed.
  • We increased the amount of Plasteel for completing Mortis Trials in all difficulties. This was the result of a bug not giving the right amount and we also feel it was too little overall for the time spent completing a mission of Mortis Trials.

I hope bug with ogryn Onslaught penance wrong numbers (not “Max stacks” but “5” what is wrong right now) will be fixed sune, report submited, that good)

What about penance “Fleeting Memories”?
When does the mission timer start and end?
Does the mission timer start after the skull activation?
Does the mission end after reclaming relic or after placing it at Sefoni’s feet?

It’s a case of git gud or do I need to start playing with stop-watch?
Does securing foothold take longer if not all operatives are within indicated area?
Other events are kinda selfexplanatory (get the battery, deliver battery), but any hints will be welcome.

I don’t know if it will help you, but I got the penance while the game told us we did the Mortis trial in 27 min. So there’s probably some warp foolery at play where the game doesn’t count the time. That or it’s bugged x)

According to my sources (the dev):

It starts when you trigger the blue light (starting the first wave), and it ends when you pick up the Mortis Relic.

The actual timer to end the mission starts when you place the relic at Sefoni (takes roughly 30 sec). Securing foothold takes longer if not all operatives are within the area.

AMENDMENT (another dev stepped forward to clarify):

So from now on “the operating procedureTM” in case of downed operative
(it always happens for the first one through gate) is:
Screw’em - place relic, grab loot and then pick up the karker?

Mortis is a great addition to the game and i cant wait to see where it goes next, its the start of a great sandbox and while at times it can be more relaxed i think its a good place to test different philosophy’s in Darktide. Havoc is absolutly brutal right now and seems unplayable unless you funnel yourself into the immediate meta of orgyn cleaver etc. I want to be able to compete with crowd control using the heavy eviscerator. I don’t see a problem having that option of variety when the cleaver can 1 shot mutants and become a toughness regeneration factory, this likely will never happen because of book talent exists and i dont even use it :confused:

If you’re chasing stuff. Can you please ask the devs to see if they can add DLAA as an option when they are fixing the issues with DLSS?

Can we please get fixes for lag on console/all platforms? Some days the game is practically unplayable, it’s a shame because the gameplay loop is so fun.

Less than 25 minutes for FLEETING MEMORIES is impossible. If the countdowns and storytelling weren’t counting against the clock, it would still be impossible to achieve.

Can’t you override w/ nV APP?

We 2-manned it on malice (took a few tries), I just switched to rumblugger for faster AoE and a bit of good RNG helped, my buddy angered the gods and did not get any good boons till the 10th wave.
The penance timer does indeed seem to start later as mission time was 26mins.

I currently use that and it works. However, some maps perform worse than others and some player builds also hurt performance. I never really know until a few minutes into a map if I need to reduce settings.

Currently I just kill RT and that works well enough so I can keep playing and not drop out. Would be really nice if I could quickly change DLAA to Quality in settings at the start of a map, or in and airlock/elevator.
