It appears that their primary focus lies on monetization rather than ensuring the satisfaction and well-being of their community and consumers. I believe it’s essential to acknowledge these concerns without any reservations or qualifications.
It’s worth noting that the constant praise they receive whenever they make improvements or fixes in their games might not be helping either. While it’s essential to acknowledge and appreciate positive changes, it can inadvertently create a false sense of achievement or complacency. If meaningful changes are to be made to the game, it might require more drastic actions, such as having players voice their concerns through means like giving Darktide’s Steam reviews a negative rating. This could potentially serve as a wake-up call to the developers and encourage them to prioritize addressing underlying issues instead of relying solely on sporadic praise for incremental changes.
