Hit detection is very inconsistent when aiming at an enemy's head

Over the couse of my playing, i have noticed the reccuring issue that sometimes my attack , wheter it be melee or ranged, will miss but the hit effects will spawn and the hit sound will play, but the enemy doesnt react. I have started noticing this much more today playing veteran as i will get the hit sound effect but the enemy will not react. It happens with seemingly every weapon and only seems to happen when going for headshots.

I think this is probally a connection/latency issue, but just in case im posting it here.


Seems like it’s caused when hitting the skin/armor layer that covers the head but not the model underneath it.
