I did specifically acknowledge Headhunter Autoguns as being very good on Veteran rn. Along with Lasguns, they’re working pretty damn well. They don’t suffer as much in terms of ammo economy, and they hit hard especially for crit builds.
I think Vet’s toughness management needed to be looked at (high base toughness, high DR with huge uptime potential, stacking toughness regen), although in terms of an accessibility vs potency tradeoff, sacrificing accessibility is probably way more annoying. That, and the extra competition for elite kills doesn’t help - between cooldown reduction and various other buffs (Empowered Psionics with the upgrade, 30% Rending on the Ogryn), everyone’s got something to gain but only one can benefit.

Sounds like unlimited Volley Fire may be back on the table. Heaven forbid that an ability would have downtime
