Eh, I mean move speed stacking can be pretty broken if you know how to abuse it. Also in Auric an awful lot of builds genuinely in no way need that amount of ammo.
That said yeah, unless you have the ability/intention to try and kite forever and force wins, or you’ve calculated a valuable break point you can reach with Fire Team, with no pathing considerations anymore, Survivalist pick rate has probably gone up if anything.
honestly the best course of action imho is making veteran surv aura 2.5%(1% or 1.5% for others), changing the damage aura for rending 10%, movement speed for dodge distance. that is what i’m willing to settle for tbh
Yes, but Carapace also needs to be nerfed (it’s dumb that some melees don’t deal any damage at all on hitting headshots on a Crusher) (and of course, the OP melees that make carapace be nothing need to be adjusted to compensate with the nerfed carapace)
It’s a nice blessing if you want to use the bayonet a lot, but otherwise are you really going to give up weight of fire or surgical for it?
I’ll admit I’m more of a Hellbore appreciater than an expert but those two blessings feel pretty mandatory to me. Maybe Weight of Fire is tradeable for the faster charging variants?
I’ve been playing mk 4 recently and I’m not a fan of Weight of Fire. I like the consistent rhythm I can get into without it and it gives more time for Surgical to stack.
Remove Opening Salvo as a talent, since it’s not worth a skill point anyways with blessings like Headhunter and Surgical existing, and switch places with Catch a Breath currently in the middle of the tree. Then place Survivalist in the middle.
Though, the problem is, that’s one less talent point for builds if you want both.
It does not need to be stronger. I am not a fan of the internal cooldown and have made suggestions on how to change that but it does not need to be buffed.
Outside of havoc, if you run out of ammo, you tried to run ouf of ammo, ignored ammo pickups in their entirety or overused your ranged weapon. None of these things should be encouraged.
Ideally, survivalist aura wouldn’t even exist and / or every class had a way to get ammo back.
Either of these things would make sense but the only thing that doesn’t make sense is to buff survivalist.
Even in havoc, you can get by without it but you’d heavily prefer having it.
yeah, but why? why is it that much of a problem if veteran can invalidate ammo boxes for themselves? Warframe has had years to get their gameplay down and their solution was who cares if something is strong in a PvE focus game
so none of you believe in more ammo, you want the same boring gameplay vet has had since start with 80% melee 20% ranged, we got dissenters against rend aura replacing damage.
none of my points about practical vet gameplay vs what a buffed aura would bring mostly benefitting vet and having low1% returns to teammates in aura just like now were really addressed.
You guys really wanna die on this hill of not letting people have dedicated ranged builds? Genuinely put yourself in a havoc match or something and ask yourself would you play any differently without worrying about ammo. You are literally still playing melee properly for distance and clearing, you’re still swapping to ranged for prime targeting at distance, you still have to reload, weapon specialist still requires you to swap to reload without animation, you still have overheat.
Other than “mo ammo bad” what else do you actually have
I wasn’t going to do this, but you deserve a Jean-Luc Picard hand palm moment, congratz.
Not only are you getting near infinite ammo with the old ways, but you’re also giving already OP weapons, everybody already has even more ammo? Just take a hot minute to think about that. Take all the time in the world with that one. I’d rather not & this post comes up maybe once a month & everybody says the same thing, bad idea. You know this isn’t Counter Strike, lol.
