DarktideComms is an account controlled by Fatshark, they also posted the message on Discord an only on these 2 platforms I believe

Well you’d think, that this being the official forum, they would post things here.
There have been things said on discord, then screenshat to reddit before a third party pushed it here…
Edit: they could REALLY pay twitter their due and verify the account.
Anyone could just create a parody account…

That is how Fatshark rolls, fully expecting it to be delayed till tomorrow / patch notes getting redacted if it does come out today
Just keep an eye on this to figure out when the patch actually comin out (if it comin out) for “Changed depots: Public”

It’s because these forums are clearly bait to isolate and concentrate people’s complaints in one place. And I guess to have the bug / performance / tech forums for reporting.
There is a name for this type of behavior. On 4chan, we call that concept a “containment board”.
P.S: The patch is actually kinda dope.

Because most of the people (and I use the term in the loosest way) posting in them are spoiled brats who make any exercise in communication pointless?
When pretty much every thread is either someone whining about how they can’t get their uber-kill-everything-no-brains-needed weapon absolutely right now, someone else throwing a tantrum because a purely cosmetic item is put in the cash shop, or yet another thinly veiled threat to continue review bombing the game until its reverted to VT2 in space, yeah. I wouldn’t want to have to be here 8 hours a day either.
Almost like gamer has become synonymous for spoiled brat in need of a reality check.
Yeah, especially since there’s all these people around that don’t engage in any of the discussions about any topic on hand and immediately start attacking other people instead of their arguments. And the people who’s view of everything is so black and white that the word ‘nuance’ is probably from an alien language to them. And others that might be wall painters because they paint everything with such a broad brush.
But this is still an official communications channel and they’re paid to monitor and engage with the community.
God are we really going to keep doing the “every review I don’t like is review bombing” thing?
