Comparing this to the VT2 skulls update is hilarious. I don’t even understand what this event is meant to be or what we’re meant to do for it? Fingers crossed there’s a bunch of cool stuff coming in the itemisation update.

it´s a mini “kill x heretics” to get some materials ?
with 9600 seems roughly 3-5 auric maelstrom matches ?
or is it 9600 headshots ?

Jesus Mary and Joseph… the event rewards are just more useless kraking crafting materials?! Not a unique cosmetic or anything to entice us to play? Just more coinage to feed the slot machine? Someone managing Darktide is a sadist. I hope to heavens there is more announced later today.
I was honestly expecting a news update and no content as part of the event. No content would’ve been better than this content if this is all there is.

That’s it? You’ve got something that Arrowhead’s devs plop down as a time-filler, and that’s your big ‘event’? Nothing new, no incentive to actually engage with the game in new and interesting ways, no hype? All you’ve got is a ‘go forth and grind’ event and some minor cosmetics fixes?
