Yeah. Daggers are a massive pain in the ass to craft.
It took me around 200 tries to get my 2nd Lacerate IV since I couldn’t scrap the first one I got as it was on a dagger that was already good.
Anything like 2 weeks ago wanted a ok payker staff. 15k plasteel and nothing what i wanted. I juat want ok gear on anyone but vet and my favorite weapons

executor has like zero uptime. You’re better off with a blessing that doesn’t immediately dissolve or whenever you miss a head.
yah uncanny is way better, but the bleed from the talent is pretty trash. You only need it to proc the bonus 60% dmg

I could try the crit on dodge like the other mentioned most likely in the grand scheme the crit does more
There might be something glitched with that one, because I made a 100% crit zealot build with it in mind and it didn’t 100% crit (I have a post in the bug forum with vid recording). I feel the most stable choice, for lack of a better word atm, is uncanny strike, even though it takes a few hits to ramp up. The knife doesn’t really need help vs armor types other than flak and carapace, and where it excels is turning the knife into a can-opener for carapace where you can spam lights and have it be nearly as effective as heavies. If I had a full 80 spec on my knife for vet, it could 2-shot a crusher w/heavies, but the ttk isn’t too far off from just light spamming with mixed push-attacks. You def don’t want to light spam monsters though, and you can sometimes try for a cheeky 1shot heavy hs on a charger (which also sometimes works from behind bc of some glitch). And I’m also keeping this as a wall of text to make it more difficult for some dev to change this, but in particular for the zealot, if you have uncanny stacks built up with the knife, your throwing knife benefits from it, and can half-health a crusher with a headshot, so you can do a few light attacks then throw a knife for a super fast crusher or mauler takedown.
