Going to forego the standard format because this one is pretty simple.
Went into the psyk, and tested out the damage differences in near/far ranges for the enemy types described in the “stopping power” property on helbore weapons.
Found out that damage only increases with range against maniacs, but nothing else (carapace doesn’t change by default). Damage vs flak and unyielding should increase slightly, but it remains the same no matter the distance.
Side note: the damage breakdown in the weapon inspection menu doesn’t correlate well with actual damage the weapon deals. It ought to take into consideration the weapon-specific properties (ie bonuses to specific enemy types).
