There is either a bug present or a huge oversight with the new Havoc promotion system. I linked up with a team and jumped several promotion levels (from 21 to 27) over the course of an evening, but I was not the party host. Now, my havoc level is 27, but my own Havoc assignment does not change to reflect my rank, even after the Saturday reset. This effectively makes the promotion useless, as I can’t actually progress with my own missions if I don’t do all those promotion levels over again anyway. This is frustrating enough that I’ve stopped playing Havoc entirely. If this is not a bug then PLEASE have the player’s personal havoc mission update to reflect their own rank. I’m supposedly unable to be demoted by helping players below my rank, but since my personal Havoc missions are lower I can and do lose deployments and demote my assignment if I happen to help somebody that is trying the rank directly after my own personal mission.
