I don’t know what is happening with havoc, but I’ve been playing havoc 20 - 30 and for some reason the game became hyper aggressive like never before. Some games we just get out of spawn, walk 2 feet and get greeted by this. And a bunch of specialist throwing flame bombs, tox gas bomb, a bunch of mutants. Some games this happens in the middle of it.
Mind you, its not the team advancing too much, we walk and retreat. Sometimes, the game just keep throwing stuff one after another.
It looks like the boss trigger is broken, because havoc wasn’t easy before but it wasn’t this BS all the time like right now.
Just now, I had 3 games on the same map and all of them was like this. We get out of spawn and the game just throw this like the director has infinite resources. The AI direction feels like can spawn whatever it feels like it without any cost. As far as I know, it can spawn stuff but each stuff has a cost. As of right now, it looks like it has no cost whatsoever.
This is normal, twins have set triggers on every map, captains have set triggers, monsters have set triggers. Sometimes these triggers are very close to eachother and can be hit in quick succession, if you don’t know the exact point of the trigger. Almost no one playing havoc 20-30 will know these triggers and will most likely just hit multiple without thinking. Also, pacing is almost always messed up at the start of the map, meaning you can get multiple weakened boss spawns at the same time.
This is usual at havoc.
You’ll get used to it eventually.
besides the normal triggers there are certain areas that seem to have bugged boss spawns. the very beginning to consignment yard will sometimes spawn 3+ weakened monstrosities at once, and the drop down hacking room on carnival also spawns several monstrosities at once but they can be full health for some reason
