For what purpose?

What kind of game problem this tax nodes solving?

They not provide any difficulty in building

They not provide choice by themselfs

They not provide happiness and fun

Im not against arbiter tree, its WAY better then any other class skill tree, but i cant imagine why we need have nodes that we ALWAYS need to pick as option.

I agree with this actually.

It’s only solving the “problem” of connecting to the next set of nodes, it’s almost like a tree reset, a root (a tree starting at top single node).
You can call them tax nodes or chazwazzers, it doesn’t quite matter as they are there and are good, but yeah they’re unskippable and therefore innate.
They “refined” the trees, pinched them to let you select blitz then dog keystone, it’s a change in the player’s favor in the end.

So if they kept it more tree-like, would you want 3x 25 tuff nodes? You’d end up paying more to change branches, stuff you may not want for that privilege like zealot.

Can you call it a tax node? Sure, technically, but a beefy 2x 25 TUF sure beats:

I’m not sure I see the big deal here and while you’re technically correct, which is the best kind of correct usually, here it’s whatever IMHO.

I wonder if Arbites also have lower stat than other class at 30 points, or they just have higher base stat/tax node mutiplier to make up for it.

Its not possible without this tax node?
