I keep dropping my havoc mode,This is very upsetting to me
yes its been all over the place, im hoping that its laggy because they are adding stuff and fixing things in the background

Recently, I have been experiencing a lot of lag and delay issues with my Swedish internet, which are particularly noticeable when fighting ragers.
noticed quite the lag between audio and animations.
namely trappers uttering 2-3 words of their pitch and the nets already start flying
guess with the same issue i could explain the increase of “silent” dogs as well
most “fighting” enemies aint much of a problem since i slide into them flailing constantly, but them approaching from an ankle or not immediately engaged seem out of sync for sure.
Thought my connection was sh’t.

Been noticing both some jank and the director being more punishing than usual. Went down on Heresy a few days ago when guiding some new peeps thru which doesn’t normally happen.
Spawn rates have not been changed.
Had an Auric mission recently and it was horrendous. Rubber banding and lag. Honestly a miracle I survived it.
Proof? All I’ve got is subjective experience.

It doesn’t actually detect data corruption. Just verifies presence of valid files.
Error this and that code, lag, stutter that indicates connectivity one would assume. I keep same mod files but reinstall then it’s stable without these errors.
I used to re-install and blame big patches but now I’m thinking it is down to using too much mods.
Just every now and then ability glitch happens. i.e. I press F, nothing happens I press F again and it double dashes delayed 3 secs later, but I still have 1 dash charge?

Problem is it is only months at a time when when it happens then I reinstall but I would have to play for months without mods to see if really the case.
But from experience connection error - Can be result of problem related to files and not internet itself.
I was disconnecting from missions alot - Reinstall and problem gone. Went down rabbit hole thinking internet connectivity related.
I saw a guy get d/c 5 or 6 times in one match other day after a while i asked him and he said its never happened to him before.
there has not been any change to the code.
Which code? The game itself requires updates but the backend can be edited without requiring those fairly easily.
Yes the lag and banding has felt pretty bad recently. Since at least the launch of havoc at a guess.
Maybe they turned a few servers off!
all spawning logic code is in the github, logic has not changed since they removed timed hordes having an unlimited spawn pool in secrets of the machine god.
Playing yesterday I was on 50 ping but kept getting ghost hits and enemies dying half a second after I killed them
Weird thing is sometimes when I press F there is a delayed activation.
Then if I pressed again it would cause double dash but show I still have 1 remaining as if only 1 was used.
I think the only thing backend wise that could affect the spawns would be how scuffed the servers they run the missions on are.
You’ll remember how different VT2 was between a host with a good PC and a host with a bad PC. It’s probably the same dynamic. When you get the alibaba server the game is probably spawning less stuff. Along with other effects. I remember when the game came out, and you played high intensity damnation, not only would the servers sometimes straight up crash from the load during hordes, but hordes spawning also basically disabled shooter AI and made them act 10x more slowly.
So I don’t think people are straight up making stuff up when they say spawns changed, what they’re experiencing is just server luck of the draw though
there’s easily noticeable rubber banding almost at every start of gloriana, i run about 20 m forward only to be teleported back.
i also noticed a delay with character voices, like someone calling for help after they have been rescued from a dog.
Knowing a thing or two about cloud servers it’s odd though. It could only happen if the servers run out of resources, meaning too many matches being hosted on a single instance. Or perhaps the on-demand spin up is taking too long.
We’ll never know.
