Yeah no I justifiably give FS a hard time but Darktide is by no means dying or dead.
DT is more successful, and has consistently seen more players, than VT2. And they both have pretty close to the same peak concurrent players. VT2 is still alive and kicking and getting updates and consuming hundreds of human souls every hour of every day long after launch.
Solo mode would be great, but there’s no need to doom. The game is doing fine, the player count has just been doing better and better, and we’re going to keep getting updates for years to come.
