In Auric normal games (except if all go backward?), there is no spawn once you have gone past an invisible line
(I always collect chest in online games, this compensates the solo runs… as a result I can often get lost by the group

Well consoloes are for kids, hence the censorship. Adults use PCs ;]
My kid has a computer… under bazzite that I will switch to cachyos… I am not convinced by fedora / bazzite

Linux distros…
Fedora is a Red Hat distro that is free.
Bazzite is a sort of fork by the same team, made for gaming.
CachyOS is an Arch Linux distro clearly aimed at gamers and easy to install (something that Arch Linux is not).
The difference is that Fedora / Bazzite are currently using old drivers, when CachyOS uses the latest drivers. Arch Linux gets updates immediately.
I have run into big problems with Microsoft. When 25H2 was released, it messed up my computer. I tried to reinstall and it took me a lot of time. When I reinstalled, I blocked Windows Update. BUT, Microsoft succeeded in bypassing the blocking and reinstalled 25H2. So, I switched to Linux…
Now I get a system that I totally control and have lots of great features that are totally free. Better file manager (Dolphin), better interface (KDE) with lots of options (dynamic accent colors, options to put a window on top etc), easier use of my computer (all drivers are included in the OS - no install) and a store like on your phone where you get tons of free applications.
Now that I understand Linux a little, I have Rescuezilla, which is free and can restore an image of my system, OR I can reinstall in 15-30 minutes (made a script that reinstalls everything just by launching it).
And to complete, Microsoft succeeded in messing up the Xbox Series X and my son could not use his account correctly (Game Pass was not activated for him). So, as I was tired and had already switched my computer (and the one of my wife and all her family, so 3 more computers), I decided to sell the Xbox Series X and build a computer.
At first I had thought Bazzite was a good idea… but CachyOS seems to be really better.. and when I say better, this is really really really better.
Just to show the gap, currently on Bazzite the Nvidia driver is the 580. I am under version 610 on CachyOS.
And yes, you can play under Linux. All my games work on this OS. But there are still a few studios that block or don’t consider Linux. But as Linux is now 7.53% of the market share, and that it grows every month (and will continue as European administrations are switching to Linux), I think Linux support can only grow.
Sidenote: Steam survey about hardware is just a bad joke. I play every day, my son also. My wife rarely. 3 computers at home, and I completed the last Steam survey on 2017-09-15 and the other accounts have never been surveyed. So, I don’t believe, at all, that the Steam survey is correct. All stats are just fantasy. If you search the internet, you will see that several players report that the surveys seems to never start under circumstances (mostly when you don’t use Nvidia or windows).
Wow such a wholesome, precise and long answer. I congratulate you the will/energy to “fight the system”. Long time ago i was using Ubuntu apart from Windows and i have good memories about it. Maybe one day i shall return
