Vermintide has been crashing consistently for me nearly every other game. When these crashes occur they are usually entire system lockups. I have zero problems with other games on this PC. It’s also used for unreal and unity development and run’s all day without an issue.

it looks like I crushed the copy to clipboard… I’ll post crashlogs in this thread as they occur if I can catch them.

Honestly, Vermintide 2 should never be able to result in your PC locking up, it’s likely that it’s demanding nature is highlighting an instability in one of your components. If you could upload a console log here I can see if Vermintide 2 is using the correct GPU.

Thank you Grutch, looks like your GPU is being detected as it should be so no concerns there. However, your GPU drivers appear to be outdated - please perform a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers using the instructions here. Let me know if you need any help.

Julia,

I did a clean re-install of my gpu drivers and I did a deep memory test of my ram which showed no issues. Do you have any other suggestions? I’m still experiencing hard crashes and at this point elect not to host games so I don’t drag other players through this misery. I had to note one more time, this behavior does not happen with any other game I play on this system nor while using unreal or unity editors and sometimes those are extremely taxing on my system.

Hmm, have you overclocked any of your components?

No overclocking.
