Sorry to hear this!

A couple of things which may help -

  • The recent AMD driver version isn’t playing nicely, please roll back to driver version 26.6.1
  • As you’re PC is hard crashing, it may be worth checking your motherboard’s manufacturer website for any available BIOS updates - as outdated BIOS can lead to instability, especially with Ryzen CPU’s, as Darktide is a CPU-intensive game. With firmware updates we advise caution and to do so at your own risk

Please let me know how things go!

I’ve backdated my gpu driver to 26.6.1 and still getting the same crashes.

I’m not reinstalling BIOS as my PC is fine and has the most up to date version already.

Guess I’ll just hope I can play again some point soon.

@CaDaVeRgirl85 thanks for the update. In which case, there are other potential solutions you could try here:

Been trying to get this to work but still getting crashes. I’ve done all the things above.

Literally cannot complete a mission.

I’ve brought all the DLC and spent a load on cosmetics, and now I can’t even play the game anymore.

Very sad beans.

Try checking the windows event log to see if an error is logged their.

System specs, including power supply specs?

Just a general side note for ppl and OP:

Many good, mid to high end motherboards will have a USB flashback recovery that can be booted to re-flash the BIOS if needed, some work without a CPU too (so you can add later new CPU models). Other mobos will have a dual bios (Gigabyte).

If you have a bit of $ a UPS is a very worthwhile investment for peace of mind, even when flashing BIOSes.

Both Zoro and Meat chimed in with good suggestions adding to Lev’s, the Windows Event viewer sometimes has additional info that can point to the culprits.

The game crash dump or Windows dump files (*.DMP w/ WinDbg.exe)if hard crash/BSOD can often give valuable info too, even 3rd party sites like Dell have started including instructions

Google for more info.
