Handmaiden Rebalance for DWONS mod link
Changes
*Dash (carrer skill): Provides invisibility for 2 seconds regardless of talents.
*Focused Spirit: Power bonus improved from 15% to 20%. Take 5 seconds to activate instead of 10. Some sources of damage do not break the buff.
*Oak Stance: Changed from “giving 5% crit chance” to “Hitting an enemy provides 0,75%% power, 0,5%% attack speed and crit chance for 3 seconds. Stacks up to 20 times.”
*Willow Stance: Max stack is now 4. Was 3 before (5% attack speed each stack)
*Dance of blades: Dodge bonus while blocking buff to 30%. Was 20% before. It give 10% attack speed instead of 10% Power bonus. The buff lasts 2,5 seconds. It was 2 seconds before
*Heart of Oak: HP bonus buffed from 15% to 20%. It also provides an aura of 10% damage reduction
*Gift of Ladrielle: Instead of invisibility (which is now part of the base carrer skill), it provides 5% of damage reduction per enemy hit with dash. Max stack is 5.
*Bladedancer: Instead of making enemies bleed, it provides 5% of power bonus per enemy hit with dash. Max Stack is 5.
To do
Actually remove the bleeding from Bladedancer.
Add visual effect for invisibility on Bladedancer and Power from Pain.
Base for the changes
As many of you know, Handmaiden kit does not scale well at modded difficulties. It may be the class that suffer the most on the modded, since it is a frontliner without a decent power bonus. On top of all that, most of her kit is not able to keep up with the challenges of the modded difficulties.
What I tried to do in this rebalance is to put Handmaiden in the same level as classes that can handle those challenges properly.
I used Zealot as a base for reference
In this rebalance, HM have a more power bonus and attack speed similar to Zealot, but with different constancy.
Her utility kit wasn’t strong enought or neither she was tank enought to be a front liner, so I gave her an extra utility option and improved one of her tank option (Heart of Oak), and gave her another tank option (Gift of Ladrielle).
Hopefully those changes will put HM in the same level of balancing as Zealot.
