Guess the new class (just for fun)

I think I am going to edit the wikis to say that the 1 planet where they are found was eaten by tyranids.

That would be a very bad cashgrab considering majority of people hate the idea of furries in 40k. Well except in that one cartoon made by that one animator that STILL havent been acknowledged by GW (aka didnt get the cease and desist email) which is just hilarious.

Half Ogryn half Admech , lets meet in the middle with a Servitor.

I don’t think it’ll be anything Mechanicus because we just had Arbites, a companion class with an emphasis on shocking.

The actual reality of Arbites is obviously different, but thematically there’d be a massive amount of overlap between them.

My guess is that it’ll either be a Kroot Killbroker or a Sister Novitiate.

And there won’t be overlap between sisters and zealots? Lots of similar weaponry both ranged and melee, bolters, flamers, chain swords, power weapon swords.

Hey! Hey Fyodor! Have a Happy New Year pal…

I’d love to see a Tech-Adept/Priest. Give me all the Mechadendrites, Servo-Arms, Servo-Skulls and other Mechanicus goodies you can think of. Let me purge heretics with an Omnissian Axe and a Volkite gun.

Admech is more plasma than shock, and its just the Arbities Shock mine you’re talking about right?

I mean thats like saying it wont be a sister because the zealot has a fire grenade and a flamer.

The arbities emphasized on the dog IMO and the nod the judge dredd. It can still very much be an Admech, i hope it is!

I still think it might be a combat servitor admech or imperial agents. We already got something from the Imperial agents codex so I dont see why GW cant dip their toe into it again for some kind of retinue, or Imperial breachers. Breachers are far similar to Arbites than Admech. Something from the Navy, i dont really care much for a hive ganger. Hopefully we find out on the 18th!

  • The zealot can be a Sister of Battle… at least thats what I do: outfit + bolter/flamer + fanatism.

  • I would prefer an Adeptus Mechanicus adept, but a Servitor is not a bad idea. (I just want it to have servoskulls).

  • The Admech is a bit savage for Darktide no?… but fun buahahahaha.

I would complain because is not WH40K lore.

But I would totally play Bardin in Darktide.

It won’t be a sister cause zealot already represents Ecclisiarchy faction and religious cults like Death Cult assassins. And Martyrdom is somewhat penitent-repentia analogue. Plus power armor even used by mortals suggests completely different level of power than some veteran weaing flaks or zealot in rags.

Wich is why it has more chances. The more stuff you can recycle the better it for the devs.

V2 Necromancer summons AI+DT poxhound animation rig = Arbites.

Now they can even use summons AI for servoskull pet branch for the Admech. Some assets and voicefilters are partially there with NPC’s.

There is no big playstyle overlap, since Arbites is your typical hunter class - pet, traps.

While admech can be a swiss army knife - buffs, debuffs, heals (biologis), summoner, dots (radium weapons). And even some engineer metagame loop - collecting scraps during the run to place turrets, create improvised armor for damage reduction, etc.

Plenty of unique stuff you can make with admech.
