I’ve tried all the fixes that could apply in the known troubleshooting page, including making sure to turn off cloud saving before wiping the app data folder. Lower graphical settings seems to make no change. I lowered worker threads to 4, was 12. No change running the game in windowed.

@Teko sorry to hear this. A few things to try -

As this is a GPU-related crash, firstly please try uninstalling your GPU drivers using a dedicated driver removal tool (e.g. Display Driver Uninstaller) and then reinstall our GPU drivers fresh.

If the crashes persist, it’s a shot in the dark, but you could check whether your BIOS needs to be updated via your motherboard manufacturer’s website. As outdated BIOS can often lead to instability. With firmware updates we advise caution, and to do so at your own risk.

Lastly, it may also be helpful to try switching to our Experimental Build.

This Darktide build version includes subtle changes that we trial, some of which focus on stability and performance - so I’m hoping that you may have a more positive experience using it.

To do so:

  1. Open the Steam client
  2. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library
  3. Select ‘Properties’
  4. Select ‘Betas’
  5. Enter the password cTYPtKTsfMDsLHAV
  6. Select ‘Check Code’
  7. Select the ‘None’ dropdown, and experimental - Experimental Builds should now be within the list
  8. Select experimental - Experimental Builds
  9. Close the pop-up window
  10. A download should now start

Please let me know how things go.
