I am confident that if 3 wounds is added to the veteran class, the collective blood pressure of the entire Darktide Community in Forums and Reddit will rise to such levels, that the toxicity in the community will implode on itself, here is a diagram example.
In all seriousness, though, a Talent that allows you to get an extra wound would be nice.
I tend to take the extra wound talent on Zealot whenever I can fit it in, just because I like that safety buffer, and can thus spend my curios on other things.
It would help weaker players, and those who feel they don’t need it are free to ignore it.
That said, I like your use of Graphs to illustrate your point.

… insofar as some skills and healing items will cleanse the entirety of a wound. If that’s 50% of your health, yip yip. If you’ve 4 wounds then it’s only 25% of your total health.
I think one extra wound on a curio can make sense, but more than that and you’re probably better throwing it in to health/toughness to be better at surviving in the first place. If you die, then you’re likely only 30seconds ahead of the play anyway for the rez. If you’re going down more times than a punctured inflatable doll, then you’re probably on the wrong level.
Why though? Its not like wounds makes you more tanky, its pretty much only good for corruption, martyrdom builds and for players that go down a lot, at least as far as i know.
If the purpose of this suggested extra wound is to be able to take more damage, you are better off asking for higher health or toughness values.
