I want Genestealer cults placed in the game in an update. Nurgle is fun and all but I wanna deal with Tyranid Genestealer cults. Not the GENESTEALERS as they would be way too difficult lore-wise… but every hive city struggles with Genestealer cults and I wants them.

Also I play with loud friends a lot and I miss a lot of dialogue… so if the intro to the levels talk about it it’s quite possible I missed it

yeah im not talking about genestealers being discussed in game, im talking about fighting the cults… which are not in the game. I heard they were rumored to be a thing in a future update but cannot verify.

there’s no way they don’t use genestealer cults, the lore is tailor made for it and it’s almost the only lore friendly way to add non-Chaos enemies
Also, clearing a Genestealer Cult would be the perfect way to introduce the Chaos Wastes mechanics from VT2

As far as i have understand it, there are hints in that direction. My Savant also asks “when do we go to that big dangerous Hive City everyones talking about”?
So i guess a Necromunda Addon is planned and makes also sense with Genestealers and visit the radiation infested Tunnels of collapsed Hive Secundus purging some Genestealers and adding new class(es)?!

At the moment there isn’t anything pointing toward the GSC being in the sector, there are plenty of other forces that are more likely to appear alongside the current roster rather than Genestealer
Even the voices lines about the second hive never speak about GSC.
So GSC would be very out of the current scope of the game, and if they work like Vt2 did, where each introduced faction was allied with the rest. And GSC would not become allied with them. So I’m still rooting for other Chaos Cults over GSC
(Also we already have a GSC mini in game, with the Trappers)
It would be interesting but I think they have too much to do to add that kind of thing in for a very long time. Are you just talking about the reddit post from a few days ago?

I’m guessing the first new enemies will be an expansion of the Dregs (there was another specialist type for them but was cut) and maybe minor daemons, like nurglings and blightbearers, with plaguebearer or herald monstrosities. (Chanting, inhuman voices from the last vox transmission)
Pretty much all of the Genestealer cult talk was the player characters talking about Morrow’s career, Xanadu, Armageddon, Macragge, an encounter with Necrons, etc.
The second hive would probably be chaos related based on some of the PC lines, like the ogryn one where any scout parties that returned from it were all white-haired and insane, or the psyker one where they can sense something, but it’s all twisted.

Plaguebearer are elites at most, not Monster. Herald could be a Lord choice, unless they prefer to take a Sorcerer instead.
And iirc there is somewhere a mention of a second Plague Ogryn
