The gamepass population is abysmal. Its really hard to get a game thats not all bots.
Since fatshark has no plans for crossplay with steam, atleast let us move to steam. I would literally buy the game again. I cant remember the last time I was able to have a game with 4 players on gamepass. Forget about damnation, no one plays it.

Not to be mean, but this was obvious in advance that this situation would eventually occure. Gamepass is really just Microsoft’s next attempt at Games for Windows Live (read: It’s abysmal for online play). I’m pretty sure you were told in advance by other players to prioritize Steam. Gamepass is just good for playtesting cheap.
Anyway, I’m pretty sure with the Xbox release it will get crossplay with that. But that’s a long way off.

Gamepass crossplay breaks a bunch of games as well sadly. Like Valheim if you have a crossplay server you can’t use a Steamdeck on it for some reason.

Meh I figured I played enough for free so I bought the imperial edition on Steam, leveled up all four classes again Was a lot of fun because I had a MUCH better handle on the game and it’s mechanics
You said you have no problem paying so why not the same zeal for playing the part of the game that has substance and progression??

I think that’s because Steamdeck uses a Linux based OS. Probably Microsoft actively blocking Linux.

It’s my personal main problem too.
Sometimes it’s really hard to find people to play with. Running damnation with bots is a waste of time.
There should be a transfer option for a small fee or crossplay. Probably will make me stop playing if the situation is not being adressed soon.

You actually BOUGHT it on Gamepass? I thought most people just gave it a try as it was free with the sub.
