Game will not boot up, crashes after shader cache loading

Issue Type (Required):

Crash - on Launch

Issue Description (Required):

The game launches, but the window looks a bit off in resolution. I click play, the shader cache loads to 100%, and the screen flashes black. Then nothing, I look in the Steam library and it says the game is running. I stop the game, start it up again, it goes through all previous steps, then gives me a crash report.

I have reinstalled the C++ redistributables.
I have done a clean reinstall of my drivers.
I have disabled Steam Cloud Saving.
I have deleted the Appdata.
I have verified the integrity of game files.

Is there anything else I can do?

Could you try disabling DLSS/FSR? (via the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu)

Tried that, still crashes.

Is there anything else I can try to get this game to work?

Hi Savage, one of our developers has mentioned that they experience the same crash and has raised this with NVIDIA. Unfortunately, we’ve not heard anything since. With that in mind, would you like me to assist with a refund?

No, the game was purchased years ago. And, id rather keep it and get it working.
