Game Mechanics Consistency Pass?

So after the RNG itemisation patch, could we get the same when it comes to gameplay consistency, stuff like:

  • specials and elites NOT playing their audio cues, especially when closing in
  • pox bursters NOT getting pushed when pushed, especially when coming around corners
  • hounds skipping their lounge animations when still in full sprint, especially when going up an elevation
  • hounds rarely, but happens refusing to get pushed
  • sniper not always showing their laser when aiming at you, or just before shooting at you
  • snipers not playing the audio cue of “you are about to get shot at”
  • trappers shooting nets through objects, object edges, through stairs and edges of elevations
  • mutants passing you to your side, yet somehow managing to grab you
  • almost forgot: more QoL on weird small terrain features which “steal” your dodges. Like this little thing. Why massive objects have no collision for sake of sniper shots, yet you put all those effort into making terrain details like this break the main mechanics a player has to defend themselves?

Also even rarer (at least in my case):

  • “ghost hits” - shots which hit yet sever never confirms the hit
  • server saying “No” when you clearly dodged attacks

Feel free to add stuff you think I missed, which is worth mentioning.

I would say yes this is something I’d definitely want more than content or new systems. The game is entirely manageable when enemies grow out of the ground or every gunner on the map is suddenly silent, but it FEELS like garbage. The game was at it’s best for me when there was less noise, hit feedback was more consistent and such (dogs have always been a dice roll though some things are eternal) and every hotfix I play a few rounds to see if the myriad host of strange issues persist and it’s usually ‘fine’ the first day then degrades from there. It makes it hard to have a concrete opinion on the games balancing and mechanics for me because it’s hard to discern what’s a result of design or the amorphous cloud of strange technical issues with enemies and performance.

Deaf modifier. Its normal missions, but due to daemonic infestation u need to close u ears. NO AUDIOCLUES AT ALL.

Isn’t that part of the game already? :joy:

Also this thread is more about fixing little bugs and consistency issues with the game not working as intended, not new difficulty modifiers.
