The game is completely failing to launch when I click ‘play’ on Steam. The game briefly shows as ‘running’ in green on the left hand pane of my Steam library, but after a few seconds reverts back to the white text of an inactive game. The game launcher does not boot at all. I’ve tried verifying the game files through Steam, reinstalling the game and followed the various steps outlined here: https://support.fatshark.se/hc/en-us/articles/7709665369501--PC-How-to-Resolve-Darktide-Launcher-Issues, none of which work. The game does not produce a crash report.
I have managed to partially run the game by directly running darktide.exe from the program files, however the game hangs at the ‘processing inquisitorial clearance’ loading screen.
The issue has occured since 12/08/24 which was the last time I successfully played the game. Since then I have run a Windows update and there were the two hotfixes for the game on the 13th and 14th.
